Dua Lipa’s new track ‘Hotter Than Hell’ is pretty much the sole definition of “banger”. In one of the best executed pop efforts of the year, Dua Lipa proves her innovative relevance at only 20 years old. After signing to Warner Bros in 2015, Dua was announced as a name on the BBC Sound Of 2016 long list and quickly released the hell blazing ‘Last Dance’. Whilst her previous single set her firmly on the map, ‘Hotter Than Hell’ is an altogether different sonic beast with a huge, stadium-filling chorus and perfectly constructed production value. It’s a smash hit in the making for Dua Lipa. -JE
